3 000 h life test of 20 cm xenon ion thruster

  • 摘要: 為了驗證20 cm氙離子推力器的壽命，進行了約3 000 h的壽命考核實驗。在實驗過程中，測試推力器性能參數、離子光學系統(tǒng)性能以及放電陰極和中和器陰極的能耗變化。通過對測試數據的分析來判斷推力器的壽命終止時間。實驗表明20 cm氙離子推力器連續(xù)累計工作3 000 h后，性能指標滿足設計要求，其壽命已超過3 000 h。

     

    Abstract: 3 000 h life test was carried out for validating life of the 20 cm xenon ion thruster. During the testing, performance the parameters of the thruster and the ion optics system, and the energy consumption of the discharge cathode and neutral cathode were measured. The thruster life was estimated by analyzing the measured data. The results show that the performance of the 20 cm xenon ion thruster can satisfy its design requirements. The life of the 20 cm xenon ion thruster is over 3 000 h.
