空間材料深層充放電效應(yīng)試驗研究

Experiment on deep dielectric charging and discharging of space materials

  • 摘要: 利用電子槍發(fā)射的單能電子束、以及放射源發(fā)射的能譜結(jié)構(gòu)接近空間電子環(huán)境的β射線電子,模擬試驗了幾種常用空間介質(zhì)材料和某衛(wèi)星部件的深層充電過程;結(jié)合對放電電流脈沖和電場脈沖的測量,觀測了深層放電脈沖信號及其對試驗電路的影響。試驗結(jié)果表明,在類似實際空間強度的pA量級電子束輻照下,介質(zhì)材料可以累積大量電荷,其表面電位可以達到近萬V;隨后發(fā)生的介質(zhì)材料放電可產(chǎn)生高強度的放電電流脈沖和電場脈沖,放電脈沖對試驗電路造成較強的干擾。

     

    Abstract: This paper discusses the simulation experiment for deep charging and discharging process in dielectric materials for a satellite component used in space. Samples were irradiated with mono-energy electrons by using an electron gun and with β ray from a radioactive source. By measuring the current pulses and electric field pulses, the deep dielectric discharging and their effects on the experimental circuit can be studied. Results show that with irradiation of electron beam with a current density of pico-amperes, as is close to that in a real space environment, massive charge may be accumulated in dielectric materials to reach a surface potential of several kilo-volts. The subsequent discharge will generate high amplitude current and electric field pulses, which may heavily disturb the operation signals of the experimental circuit.
