Analyses and countermeasures of in-orbit satellite failures caused by space radiation environment

  • 摘要: 文章對衛(wèi)星由于空間輻射環(huán)境導致的在軌故障進行了統計;對某衛(wèi)星數傳綜合處理器在軌單粒子翻轉故障的現象、機理和措施等進行了分析;根據在軌故障案例、實際工程經驗和仿真分析,從硬件和軟件兩方面提出了具體的降低單粒子效應的多種抗輻射加固設計方法,以延長衛(wèi)星在軌工作壽命。

     

    Abstract: The in-orbit satellites’ failures caused by space radiation environment are analyzed by statistics. The phenomena and the mechanism of a typical in-orbit SEU failure of an integrated data processor are discussed in detail, with consideration of countermeasures. Based on the analyses of some real cases of in-orbit failures, the engineering experiences and the simulation analyses, this paper proposes methods for radiation hardening through hardware and software approaches, which may help mitigate the SEUs and extend the service life of satellites.
