The space atomic oxygen environment erosion on spacecraft surfaces and its protection techniques

  • 摘要: 文章闡述了空間原子氧環(huán)境及其對航天器表面的侵蝕機理,、損傷效應,、防護方法,介紹了北京衛(wèi)星環(huán)境工程研究所在原子氧防護技術研究方面取得的進展,。過去5年里,,該所采用物理氣相沉積、溶膠-凝膠化學等方法制備了原子氧防護涂層,,并對涂層樣品進行了環(huán)境適應性評估試驗,,獲得了初步的研究結(jié)果。結(jié)果表明這些樣品均表現(xiàn)出很好的抗原子氧性能,。

     

    Abstract: This paper discusses the space atomic oxygen environment as well as its erosion and damage effects on spacecraft surfaces. The studies on the atomic oxygen protection technology carried out in BISEE (Beijing Institute of Spacecraft Environment Engineering) are introduced. During the past five years, atomic oxygen protective coatings were developed based on the physical vapor deposition (PVD) and sol-gel method in BISEE, and their anti-AO performance was evaluated by testing. Preliminary results indicate that these protective coatings enjoy good resistance to atomic oxygen erosion.
