A method for correcting parameters of an atomic oxygen undercutting model

  • 摘要: 在空間原子氧效應(yīng)數(shù)值模擬研究中,確定掏蝕模型各參數(shù)是保證計(jì)算結(jié)果正確性的重要工作。文章對(duì)Banks原子氧掏蝕模型的各參數(shù)的作用進(jìn)行了分析,基于掏蝕過(guò)程中的相似律分析給出了數(shù)值模擬和試驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)相結(jié)合以確定該模型參數(shù)的方法。文章還提出材料的原子氧理論侵蝕當(dāng)量的概念,并使用數(shù)值模擬方法與試驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)計(jì)算了一種碳纖維環(huán)氧復(fù)合材料的原子氧理論侵蝕當(dāng)量。應(yīng)用該特征量可以建立數(shù)值模擬結(jié)果和試驗(yàn)結(jié)果之間的準(zhǔn)確關(guān)系。

     

    Abstract: In the simulation of space atomic oxygen(AO) effects, it is essential to determine the parameters in the AO undercutting model. An analysis is made to find out the roles of the parameters in an atomic oxygen undercutting model developed by B. A. Banks. Based on the proposed similarity law, a method is presented to determine the parameters in that model by combining experimental and numerical data. In addition, a new property parameter named the theoretical erosion yield of material is proposed, and the value of which is calculated for carbon fiber epoxy composite. This parameter can be used to establish a link between the simulation result and the experimental result.
