Abstract: As a standard for tailoring, the equivalent of the MIL-STD-810F, the GJB150A specifies only one accelerating test procedure for damp heat test. Thus, the applicability of the method, the test order, and the test facility must be carefully analyzed and tailored. The environment and the development course of the damp heat test are discussed in this paper, and by taking the damp test of some model firewall as an example, the temperature and the humidity profile, the adaptability of the damp heat, and the tailoring of the test method are analyzed with regard to the damp heat test specified in GJB 150A.
