    Abstract: Lunar dust accumulation is harmful to the solar arrays of a lunar rover. In order to predict the solar cells’ performance decay caused by the lunar dust accumulation, an overlapping model is proposed for studying the lunar dust’s overlapping effect, which may provide some guidance for the dust protection design.
